Though there were times I was reminded of The Little Mermaid movie, I still liked the story. The human responses at the beginning of the book were a bit unbelievable. Who takes a naked stranger home and gives them their credit card to buy a new wardrobe, then allows them to babysit a child. Weird but it is a fiction book. The animal character's behaviors were great.
