You can’t stop the future.

You can’t rewind the past.
The only way to learn the secret . . . is to press play.

Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a strange package with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah's voice tells him that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out why.
Clay spends the night crisscrossing his town with Hannah as his guide. He becomes a firsthand witness to Hannah's pain, and as he follows Hannah’s recorded words throughout his town, what he discovers changes his life forever.

This book is awesome and it discusses the concepts between life and death and that how what others do or say Can really harm a person mentally and physically and how may people to suicide and depression which is discussed in this book and how no one noticed the signs leading up to her death-by all matters I love this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏿

  • Amazing

Absolutely love this book. I had already watched the Netflix series of 13 reasons why and realized that the book and the TV show we’re actually not outstandingly different. I think the book really does help the series, with that being said I don’t think that it is absolutely necessary to read the book before you watch the TV show but if you do it that way, that way being a show van book, Like I did it’s probably going to be a little triggering because there are parts in the book that really don’t go into too much detail about what happened to two characters but I personally think that if I had read the book before I watched the TV series I would’ve understood it a lot better it would’ve been I guess more real, raw, fresh.

  • Glorifies Suicide

Not only is this just a badly written book in general, but the actual topic of the book is just so freaking horrible (rape, suicide, etc.). Also, the show is, like, 100 times worse. 0/10 don’t recommend
