    I've been in such a difficult place with my weight for my entire life. Books, programs, workout equipment, gym memberships... I had done it all. The shift fell in my lap while browsing my iBooks app. I hesitantly downloaded the free copy wondering what one more diet book could do to help and honestly it changed my life. It was like reading my own story, only one with a happy ending. I love it and love that it's always with me for whenever I need a bit of motivation or inspiration!!!

    This is definitely not a diet book. It is an interesting read about a year in her life as she loses weight. Basically, she cuts out all carbs and is hungry a lot. Not mention of. Exercise except fot the fact that she hates it. We do get to enjoy stories about her sex life (gross). An east read and. Interesting but don't think it is a diet plan.

    Tory Johnson's story is my story, it is the story of so many people's weight loss journey! She writes about things nobody talks about but are part of life if you are overweight; the emotions and the struggle. I love this book because of the premise weight loss requires a SHFT. And it is not an overnight thing, persistence is key. The beauty of her story is how she found what worked for her, and the daily, almost meal by meal struggle it was to lose weight, the sacrifices. I don't agree necessarily with exactly how she did it, but it is not the point of the book - to tell me what to do; I believe in way more exercise, but the take home message is she found what worked for her eventually, and she lost the weight! The book is filled with tips, wisdom, insight, if you need to lose weight or struggle on and off with it this book is a must read .. It will help you shape your journey and your life. Inspiring honest, gritty, insightful.

    Did Tory superimpose herself into my world and recite all my hurdles, negative self talk and battles with impatience to write this book just for me? The honesty and ever so familiar anecdotes and self talk forced me to take endless notes and gave me the knowledge of self to really shift! I feel differently as I read this book verses the countless others I've run to searching for Ah-ha clarity! Easy to read with great narratives, Tory's accounts and personal "shift" mentor me into s new place of confidence and conviction of self worth! Thank you Tory!

    So practical and motivational. With 3 different businesses that I run, plus family, it is easy to drown my To-Dos into self-absorption instead of focusing on real, life changing health issues like weight. Easy to read and relate to! Replicatable!
