A simple shepherd witnesses the greatest announcement from God since “Let there be light!” was proclaimed at the beginning of time. The journey of the shepherd, from the angelic appearance in Luke 2:9 through the praising of God for all that he had heard and seen, Luke 2:20, comes to life in vibrant colors.
From the aerial perspective of the heavens, the shepherd is seen receiving the announcement, finding the Babe, and telling others of the birth of the Savior. Just a Plain, Poor, Simple Shepherd will be read and loved by young and old alike.
