    Blended vegetables and fruit? Get out of here. Everyone knows you gotta juice that stuff or do you? Green Smoothies for Beginners rocked my world. Too much? (hahaha) This book simplifies the task of getting more nutritional value from our fruits and vegetables minus the intimidation of what to blend with what. A long time smoothie maker, I was blown away to find out that I am defeating the purpose of having a smoothie by adding PROTEIN. This book has totally changed my outlook on BLENDING versus juicing. For $2.99 you can't go wrong!

    This is a great book. It serves 2 purposes in that it describes the health benefits of incorporating smoothies into your diet, and it contains all the plans and recipes you need whether you want to cleanse, lose some weight, or improve the function of your body by drinking smoothies once a day or occasionally. From sweet, fruity blends to creamy avocado to spicy gazpacho, this book has a smoothie for everyone. Some are complicated with a lot of ingredients, but most are very simple.

This is a detailed book with a health program incorporating green smoothies that will get you started on the road to healthier living. Well written and informative, complete with many recipes. I have read this book eagerly and have begun to use the instructions to get my body on the road to a cleaner, healthier existence. Well worth the couple of dollars you'll spend for the recipes alone. Easy to read and full of information that will give you a healthier, happier life.

    Anyone thinking they want to try a smoothie cleanse should read this book. You can use almost any fruit or vegetable to make a good smoothie and while you can’t use sugar or other sweeteners, some naturally sweet fruit will make it palatable. Some of the recipes have clever names like Mr. Ed Special or Peter Rabbit Cocktail but they can all achieve one goal, to help you rid your body of unwanted toxins. Who knows? You may even lose a few pounds for your effort!

    I loved this book, it was simply amazing. With an index that lists the greens and other healthy foods and a list of why it was good for you, this is such a great resource. This is a super book that you should read and share around to everyone, even if they are not looking to get healthy it could just help them take a look at their own lives and start on a path to getting healthier.

It was very clear and encouraging, with simple delicious recipes, and information that breaks down the taste, yield, and health benefits of various possible ingredients. It covers all the bases, including how to do a smoothie cleanse, if desired. A great read for beginners!
