The author John Leahy has been flying since 1964. He has 34 years experience as a pilot with British Airways where he concluded his career as Chief Pilot on the 747 – the Jumbo Jet. He also served for a time, as a test pilot for BA at Boeing in Seattle. Currently, John is an aviation safety consultant and audits a leading European airline. He is a co-founder of FlightCoach.com
